The benefits of alkyd resin in the manufacturing sector
Known as “glycerophthalic resin”, alkyd resin is obtained by combining alcohol (Al) and fatty acids (cid). Thanks to its unique formulation, alkyd resin is especially popular with professionals in the manufacturing sector because of:
- the best possible compromise between durability and flexibility: alkyd resin is compatible with most materials, provided they have been prepared properly beforehand. This means alkyd resin can be used both as a binder for primers and for touch-up and top coats.
